We have monthly sales of over 3 million baht. Do you honestly think I give a damn that a customer who normally orders about 20,000 has only ordered 4,000 so far this month? Talk to me when it's a customer who normally orders 100,000 and they've only ordered 4,000 so far. The new guy isn't working out.

Surely decent customer service is based on the premise that you treat customers fairly and equally?

If you were in a supermarket and the cashiers allowed "regulars" to push in the queue, in front of you, would that be ok?

It's not like that, he's freaking out at the 'emergency' of an already small customer ordering less than normal. I treat all customers equally - they all suck (unless they pay on time and don't send food back, then they're great). The way I treat them probably isn't fair though :)

Can you tell I'm not sales? I even told the MD that he probably shouldn't let me talk to customers.
