This photo, taken in May 2008, shows the state of the sidewalk which was dug up in March 2008 by BMA lackeys. They're so close to finishing whatever it is they're doing after putting the new curb in about two months ago and I saw the new paving had been delivered today, as evidenced by the standing piles of it sitting on the side of the road.

Did I mention that the new curb isn't level with the road and is about 3 inches higher than it? I don't know why. Maybe they've got plans to lay more asphalt. Perhaps by the time I get back from my holiday to Sydney it will all be done. It's not just outside my soi, it's all down the street too, including the area going past Central Chitlom.
