One of my regular sayings is “If something’s important, you make the time” and I’ve never really thought about it beyond the surface until today when I once again had to tell someone that unless they sent me some info the updates they wanted would not happen.
His regular excuse is that he’s just too busy to send me the info I need and he is a busy guy so I appreciate that it can be hard to find the time, but when he constantly bugs me about updating the system knowing full well that such updates cannot occur until he gives me the info I need it I get extremely irritated.
After I got off the phone from hearing today’s excuse (and I’ve already been waiting two months) I thought of my saying and considered that if he hasn’t managed to make the time by now then it obviously isn’t very important to him.
