Things and TV

You may have noticed that I’ve changed the theme on the site, what do you guys think? Somehow in the process of switching I’ve lost my profile pic… can’t recall if I actually had one with any certainty but I think I did and even if I wanted to put one up again I can’t remember where in the options to set it.

I’m painfully surviving through the dearth of good television to download at the moment with Lost, Heroes and Fringe all on hiatus, and Battlestar Galactica overĀ  :( I downloaded the pilot for Caprica and it looked ok… maybe there’s some promise there. I really like Eric Stolz because he was in a movie about vikings that I liked fromwhen I was a kid. Maybe it wasn’t even him though because I can’t remember that far back too clearly. I’m currently watching the second season of True Blood, mainly because I can’t find anything else worth watching. True Blood in season 2 is far superior to season 1, yet the over-abundance of sex remains.

Anyway, I’ve heard Torchwood is good, should I grab it? Any other suggestions?

PS Maybe I have altzheimers since there are lots of things I can’t remember on this post.

Maybe it’s just me but I’m *so* used to finding links to comments at the foot of a post (after all they do “follow” the post, right?) that I get confused having to scan the left for them :)

Plus the box around your achivements overlaps the white background on firefox.

  • I’ve been out of the TV loop also but yeah people are raving about True Blood. I’m a Twilight freak so it’s quite an easy transition. More story less teen hormones.

I fixed the box for my WoW achievements (you’ll need to Ctrl+F5 to update the css), but next time the addon updates It’ll revert back once more.

I wouldn’t count on the more story part for True Blood. It’s mostly sex and blood.
